I've known that this happens all the time. Everyone told me about it. But I never truly believed it would happen to me, just like every other teenager who thinks he or she is invincible.

I've done the best I could...I have. I've pulled you back to me every time you wandered away, but I don't have any strength left any more.
I'm so tired, so weak, so exhausted.. from trying to keep up with you.

People say there is love in letting go. Well, I don't know what that kind of love feels like but I guess I'm going to find out.

No more photography trips to my backyard, no more walks to Immanuel, no more Tarot cards, no more crying phone calls, no more.

I guess I've finally given up, and it looks like you let go a long time ago...
